One hundred or so artists, from among the most talented members of the illustration and contemporary cartoon strip world, convey their vision of Paris on the covers of an imaginary magazine… The Parisianer pay tribute to the famous covers of The New Yorker and showcases a multi-faceted, dynamic and vibrant city. The La Lettre P association are the people behind The Parisianer project bringing together young creative professionals wishing to promote graphic arts and artists through original and unifying initiatives. The Parisianer artworks have been shown at an exhibition in the Cité internationale des Arts, in Paris City Hall and have now been brought together in a collection published by 10/18. Image Republic contains a selection of these poetic, impertinent, realistic, humoristic, critical and always sensitive interpretations, which offer a unique portrait of Paris.
